Mike Djareem (producer/Artist)

 

Releasing his first vinyl during the golden age of hip hop  Djareem produced and rapped for the soul puppets opening up for groups such as the Roots, Redman, Lord finesse, Smif and Wessun,The Liks and many more this includes headlining for Tricky.In the early 2000’s Michael ran a recording studio in the back of Kirky C’s (Poisondart Sound) music station, Kirky being one of the biggest reggae sound systems in the US introduced him to many Jamaican reggae artists that he recorded dub plate recordings for and engineered the sound for a long list of artists including Grammy winner, Buju Banton, Capleton, Vybz Kartel, Mad Cobra, Spragga  benz, Wayne wonder, I Wayne ,Frankie Paul, Mr. Lexx,  Movado, Don Carlos, and also hip hop artist Shock G aka Humpty Hump from the m ga rap group (Digital Underground)

In 2016 he headed West to pursue a lifelong dream of moving to southern California, he opened up a music studio and is the co-owner of Saysumtin Records.
